What's happening at Denver new home builder Wonderland Homes:

Wonderland Participates in the Essentials for Young Lives Drive:

Wonderland is proud to support HomeAid Colorado's Essentials for Young Lives Drive.  The Drive will run May 11 - June 15, 2014.  Women with children are among the fastest growing segments of the homeless population. For many of these families already struggling to make ends meet, necessities like diapers, wipes and formula can be simply unaffordable. In support of the Drive, we are collecting diapers (sizes newborn and up), wipes, and formula. Please help us make a difference!  Click here for drop-off locations or to donate online.

Jim Horn Receives Volunteer of the Year Award:

Jim Horn, a long time superintendent at Wonderland, recently received the Anthony J. Rechlitz Volunteer of the Year Award from HomeAid Colorado for his work on the Clermont Street project. Congratulations Jim!

A Project for the Denver Rescue Mission:

Wonderland is happy to be working with HomeAid Colorado and the Denver Rescue Mission on a 2 townhome unit project that includes the remodel of the kitchens and bathrooms, hardwood flooring, updating electrical service panels, new windows, doors, and paint. The completed units will be used by the Denver Rescue Mission for individuals/families with children, and we hope to complete them by April 11th.

HBF Ramp Project

The Wonderland team recently completed a project on behalf of the Home Builders Foundation of Denver. The team spent the day constructing a ramp that will help Natalie and her family gain quick and easy access to their home.

A Message from HomeAid Colorado

"It was with great generosity and a true sense of community giving that Wonderland partnered with HomeAid Colorado to build a brand new home for five female veterans and their children. These are women who have been homeless in the past and are in need of quality transitional housing where they can get back on their feet. Wonderland donated time and talent without hesitation to manage all obstacles that came their way in order to make this stunning home a reality. Throughout the construction build it was clear the staff of Wonderland were passionate and committed to creating more than a house for the women and children who would live in it, but were very interested in improving the quality of their lives long term. We were very privileged to have shared this experience with them and value our continued relationship."
